Beauty is Ignorance

Still not much coming in new work but I thought I'd post a commission I just finished up.

The drummer from Drop to Zero's girlfriend tapped me to create a piece that signified the history of her and her sister's childhood. I won't go into great detail of the story as it is not mine to tell. But a brief explanation is that some people tend to lose themselves on outer appearances to cover up the pain and suffering and abuse that their inner soul has endured.

It's not wrong. To hide that part of you, so that other's wouldn't judge, but sometimes you need to let the blood out a little bit rather than try to contain it.

You can only keep an open wound from bleeding out for so long....
