DtZ Front cover

For the past month I have been working with my good friends in Drop To Zero on their upcoming sophmore album. They want to keep the whole layout a secret so that when the cd drops it will catch everyone's attention.

This is one of the failed cover designs, so I was permitted to show it off in all of it's dirty glory.

Mostly done in Ps, except for the ornate leaf text which was hand drawn. My first attempt at that to so I was definitely pleased.
The album title was suppose to be "The Madness Ledgers" but I'm retarded and the end result is what remains. The overall feeling of the album is about one losing one's mind and trying to collect those shattered pieces and attempt to rebuilt what once was. The cover is going to reflect those "diary" events. I wanted to try and help portray that sense of offness, and aggression. The locks binding in the secrets and memories that only a select few should ever experience.

So, I am still creating, just at the pace of continent seperation
