Death waits for no one by ShawnCoss Death waits for no one by ShawnCoss
Finally finished another tattoo commission. Not sure why I hate doing them so much but whenever I hear "tattoo" for a client, i just want to cut off my hands and run around in a fountain of my own blood.

Not sure where the craziness comes from when differentiating between skin and paper. But anyway, here's Death, he's chilling, just enjoying the sunrise. This will be some fancy bastards tattoo sleeve!

now I must admit I used some referencing and recreating in the cloud and initial pose area so here's some shout outs to those images. The clouds were amazing as is, so I adjusted and altered only slightly because well damn look at em!

So now you don't have to scream "thief!" because I forgot to post some props. Enjoy bitches.

Ooh, I love this. My favourite parts: the dangling moss/ tendrils from the cliff's face, the slight curl of the reaper's robe at the far right-hand side, and the clouds! The colours you've used in the background give this image a much more complex tone, I think, that if you had kept it in a monochrome. My least favourite elements are the white highlights on the tombstones. The rest of this image has a really lovely, soft, paintery feel, but the highlights are very jagged. They seem much more digital than everything else, and are kind of visually jarring. I'd tone them down, make them a little softer. That way, the picture will be stylistically consistent. :)

Pretty neat. Gotta enjoy the contrast of the light between fore and background :) I personally like doing tattoo commissions but if you donīt find your interests there thatīs cool too.

I believe this is the first image I've seen of yours. The image drew me here first, but upon reading your comment about cutting off your hands and running around in a fountain of your own blood, I have to now put you on the watch list, if for no other reason than to read some other funny comments. How visual of a person I am in so many ways, but when I was reading it, all I could see was simply a mad man going to the lengths of cutting off his own hands, then running around in the blood rain...for whatever reason, it just struck me as funny. Not sure why.

I love it! but I think I would prefer even more without the skull, which saw only darkness within the hood
