Awakening

Been a couple days since the show so here is the finished piece that a lucky Amplexus fan won this past saturday. I really enjoyed this one, because I'm a fan of high contrasted art.

And a story to go a long with it!!

I have always been a fan of the afterlife, metaphysics, and pretty much anything unknown. Certain philosophies speak about seeing with your "third eye" and in turn you will see existence clearly. Some take it too literal and chalk it up to religious fanatics, but I'm not one to jump the gun so soon. I believe we all have the ability to see through this opening, and some look through it all day without even realizing it. I see it as an opening to your subconscious , it's awareness, and the ability to sense things before they may happen...something like a spider sense

I tend to create without thinking in my art, and really allow my third eye to create for me. Once the image is finished and I have that feeling that it is "complete" I can then sit back and allow the art to reveal itself. I find it to be the purest form of creating, but it's just my way of creating...As long as you are creating, who cares how you go about it right?
